Proverbs 7:25b

“Do not wander into her pathways..”

Part 5 of playing with fire shows Solomon understanding that men have a tendency to ‘wander’. 

What is it to ‘wander’? It is to move about without a fixed course or goal. It is to move in a casual and aimless way. 

Most Christian men who get involved in immorality will say something like, ‘I just don’t know how this even happened!’ They are genuine and the primary reason is that they were ‘wandering’. These men did not set a goal to go out and ruin their life and the lives of those they love, 

‭‭but these men, like all of us, were prone to wander. Today and each day we need to make a firm decision to honor God in all that we do, for we are all ‘prone to wander’ 

“Prone to wander, Lord, I feel it, Prone to leave the God I love; Here’s my heart, O take and seal it, Seal it for Thy courts above.”
