Acts 13:52  “And the disciples were filled with joy and with the Holy Spirit.”

This was no circumstantial joy, as they were violently forced out of Antioch…

v 50. “They stirred up persecution against Paul and Barnabas, and expelled them from the city.”

This was ‘Holy Spirit Joy’. Fruit of the Spirit Joy (Galatians 5:22). Persecuted for Jesus Joy (Matthew 5:11-12). People coming to faith Joy (v 48). Following Jesus as a Disciple Joy. 

Paul and Barnabas and the team were filled with the Spirit of God as they obediently and faithfully ministered the Gospel together. This filled them with joy.
