Joshua 6:15-16 “On the seventh day they rose early, at the dawn of day, and marched around the city in the same manner seven times… And at the seventh time, when the priests had blown the shofars, trumpets, Joshua commanded the army, “Shout, for the Lord has given you the city.”
The silence of the six days was over and it was time for the battle cry. This was the unique command of Day Seven – different from the first six days.
Joshua was specific in his declaration; “the Lord has given you the city.” The New English Translation states “the Lord is handing the city over to you”.
This was ‘all God’ and every Israelite knew this truth. The battle did belong to the Lord.
What battle can your turn over to God today?
