Genesis 39:20-21

“Thrown into prison… But the Lord was with Joseph and extended kindness to him. He granted him favor in the eyes of the prison warden.”

There was no rebuttal. No trial. No jury. Just a judgment. ‘But’ the Lord was with Joseph…

Same as when Potiphar bought him as a slave. v 2  “The Lord was with Joseph, and he became a successful man”. Whether in prison or out of prison – “The Lord was with Joseph…”

Location did not and does not matter. The Lord was still faithful to extend him kindness and grant him favor.  

And so the Lord’s kindness and favor is my expectation as well for He promises in Matthew 28:20… “And remember, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”
